A day of meditation and teaching with Tenshin Reb Anderson, senior dharma teacher at the San Francisco Zen Center. Everyone is welcome: the retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators. There will be teaching from Reb, discussion, and periods of quiet sitting and walking meditation.
The retreat may be of particular interest to people with physical or mental health concerns, carers, and people working in the healthcare field. A certificate of attendance can be given on request.
Venue: Quaker Meeting House, 120 Heath St, London NW3 1DR
When: Tuesday 30 July 2013, 10am – 5pm
Public transport: A short walk up the hill from Hampstead tube station (Northern line, Edgware branch), or buses 210 or 268 to Whitestone Road
Cost: £30 standard / £50 supporter rate. Donations from those on a low income. No-one will be turned away due to cost.
Please note that lunch is not provided. Please do bring your own lunch, or there are plenty of places to buy locally. Tea and coffee will be available.
